The guitar solo is probably the only stumbling block in the song. Theres a
hell of a lot going off here and things get a little bit 'industrial' ....
There are 4 guitar parts here. Some of the parts sound fairly dissonant and its
really the relative mix levels which make it all work.
The bends around the 13th fret on the guitar solo aren't as neatly pitched as
indicated in the tab, there are microtonal bends which can't be really indicated
just using tab - so use your ear with the tab as a guide.
There are 2 instances of tremelo picking in the guitar solo (indicated by tr).
The first instance occurs around the second 'heaven kicked you out' section,
the picking here has roughly the same rhythmic timing as guitar 4. The next
instance occurs at the end of the guitar solo and is of the 'pick as fast as
you can, Yngwie variety' with no rhythmic relationship to any of the other parts
- just keep it even.
The relative timings between guitar parts, shown above, are fairly accurate but
listen to the record to get things nailed.
I suppose I went a bit mad shoving all this stuff down - but what the hell.
