That night she fell asleep in my arms, humming the tune to, 'Louie, louie', Ahh baby, we gotta go now, The dogs were barking as the cars were parking, The loan sharks were sharking, The narcs were narcing, Practically everyone was there, In the parking lot by the forest preserve, The police had found two bodies, Nay, naked bodies, Their faces had been horribly disfigured by some sharp object, Saw it on the news, the TV News, In a black and white video, Do you know what blood looks like in a black and white video? Shadows! Shadows!!! That's what it looks like, All the love we shared between her and me, was slammed, Slammed! Up against the banks of old Lake Marie, Marie!!! --------------508C7566C56-- From jek19@rocky.orci.com Sun Mar 17 06:34:26 1996 Received: from post-office.nevada.edu (post-office.nevada.edu [131.216.1.11]) by mailhost.tcs.tulane.edu (8.6.12/8.5) with ESMTP id AAA43050; Sun, 17 Mar 1996 00:34:24 -0600 Received: from rocky.orci.com (root@rocky.orci.com [204.144.173.1]) by post-office.nevada.edu (8.6.12/8.6.4) with ESMTP id WAA21357 for ; Sat, 16 Mar 1996 22:32:40 -0800 Received: from dell ([204.144.173.91]) by rocky.orci.com (8.6.12/8.6.12) with SMTP id XAA06875 for ; Sat, 16 Mar 1996 23:33:38 -0700 Message-ID: <314BB15E.1737@ios.orci.com> Date: Sat, 16 Mar 1996 23:29:50 -0700 From: Jim X-Mailer: Mozilla 2.0 (Win95; I) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: olga Subject: TAB: Lake Marie by John Prine Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-email-warning: As a cautionary note, there have been recent instances of people forging mail addresses.
