Chris's bassitar has some kinda intro I think and then this floats in with
some trem:
|-----------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------------------------------| <-- this stuff might

|-----------------------------------------------| sounds ok...
|-9-9-9-8-6-6-6h8p6-4--9s13-13-13-11s6-6-6h8p6-4|
|-----------------------------------------------|
Play that twice with the tremelo, then normal 4 times with the singing.
Verses:

I took a little nap where the ?????
squshed a rotton peach in my fist
and dreamed about you.. woman
Poked my finger down inside
made a little room for an ant to hide
nature's candy in my hand or canned or pie...
then play somethin like this 18 times:

Track 6 off of the self-titled album.
Its best played with distortion on.
Peaches by the Presidents of the U.S.A
First off, this file may look weird because I don't have any tab creation
software. I've got a mac. If anyone knows of anything that is a tab
creation program, tips would be helpful. THANKS!
This is probably one of the best cuts of their first album. The
previous tab was a bit off, so here's how you should really play it!
Intro Thing/Verse/ IT'S GOT VIBRATO!
e:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------|
B:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------|
G:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------|
D:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------|
A:|----9---9-9-9-8--6-6-6h8-6-4----9-13-13-13-11----6-6-6h8--6-4---------------
---------------------------|
E:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------|
After the intro, just play the same riff, but a lot quieter
(and, if you want, add vibrato. It sounds a lot better).
Then, when the song gets louder, it is played a bit different.
It goes like this:
e:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A:|---9--9-9-9-8--6-6-6-8-6-4---6-6-6-6-6-8----6-6-6h8-6-4-----------|
E:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
The chorus is pretty much the same as the previous tab,
but he was a little bit off again. Geez!
Chorus
e:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D:|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A:|--2------------7----------2---------7---------2--------7--------6-6-6-6-|
E:|--0------------5----------0---------5---------0--------5--------4-4-4-4-|
Then you repeat that and go back to the verse riff. The next chorus is
the same, but then you stumble upon the riff at the end. Don't dispair,
here it is!
End Riff
e:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---|
B:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---|
G:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---|
D:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---|
A:|-----4-4-4--2-2-2-2-2--1-1-1--2-2-2-2-2-------------------------------------
-----|
E:|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----|
After playing that until he yells "LOOK OUT!," switch the
single notes into power chords, so it would be:
C# C# C# A# A# A# A# A# A A A A# A# A# A# A#
(Powerchords). Then, after he says "LOOK OUT" the
second time, just hit a C# powerchord on the E and A
strings and slide down for that beeeeeoooo effect at
the end of the song.
Lyrics
Movin to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches
Movin to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Peaches come from a can
They were put there by a man
in a factory downtown
If I had my little way
I'd eat peaches every day
Sun soaking bulges in the shade....
Movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches
Took a little nap while look so twist
Twist a rotten peach in my fist
And dreamed about you, woman
Poked my finger down inside
Make a little room for an ant to hide
Nature's candy in my hand, or can, or pie
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free...
LOOK OUT!
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free...
LOOK OUT!
