"Don't Speak" - No Doubt
Tabbed by: Steve Jang - Just a 16 year-old kid who's been playing the
guitar for
almost 2 years - but very good! ;)
Okay, a lot of people couldn't figure out the little parts of the song
and e-mailed
me about it, so I just decided to tab out everything in the song. It's
now complete.
BTW: The chord names in the intro and verses don't necessarily represent
the name of
the actual chords, but your fingering position. All of these are
barre-chords.

Tom Dumont plays a custom Gibson on treble throughout the verses & chorus,
but uses a classical for the little solo. Playing on a Les Paul, I find that
switching to rythm with a medium (6-7) tone gives a good replica if you have
enough reverb and, of course, have no classical guitar. Good Luck!!!!

"Don't Speak" by No Doubt - remember that it's a ska band (or used to be), and needs a lot of upstrokes.

-it's almost totally refined, but everything has flaws

"classical interlude" - very few hammer-ons or pull-offs -
-if you have a classical, that's really important.

Tom Dumont plays a custom Gibson on treble throughout the verses & chorus, but uses a classical for the little solo. Playing on a Les Paul, I find that switching to rythm with a medium (6-7) tone gives a good replica if you have enough reverb and, of course, have no classical guitar. Good Luck!!!!
no doubt tablature
(if you're name is charlie elmore, you suck at guitar but you'll better,
just stick with it)
